Chesed (חסד) is the Hebrew word for "Kindness." It is one of the primary classes of Mitzvah and is considered a Mitzvah unto itself as well.
PTSA shows loving-kindness to families who are dealing with life cycle events in their life.
- We comfort families for their loss of an immediate family member
- We celebrate with families as they welcome a new baby
- We support families dealing with a serious illness in their family
Our chesed is expressed in a variety of ways...
- We provide a meal to each family
Do you know of a family experiencing a life cycle event? Make sure to let our PTSA know so we can appropriately acknowledge the event and lend our support.
